Hi, I’m Morgan

Being an artist was never a question for me. Creating art has always been something that has brought me joy, and that joy naturally carries into my illustrations.

Over the past few years, I have settled down in North Carolina with my husband and our son where I have been creating cozy, heartwarming artwork that focuses on story telling, nostalgia, and magic of everyday life. My work is influenced by color, fun patterns, nature, and all the little charming details that make people feel warm and connected. 

I graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in Denver, Colorado, where I grew my love for children’s book illustration and traditional art techniques. My creative process usually starts with loose sketches and underpainting before being layered with color pencil details and texture to bring each piece to life.

I’m especially passionate about works of art that feel playful, comforting and full of personality.  Alongside Illustration, I’m currently building a story-telling inspired mail club filled with original characters, and fine art prints. This club embodies my belief that art should be a form of connection to others.
